My best work is reverently displayed upon the fireplace mantel. Some people think this is "weird," but it hardly qualifies as a habit. Besides, cousins Mike and Tom appreciate being able to visit with their brother at family reunions. 4. I can't hide my emotions. No matter what the circumstance, they're easily read upon my face. Mark Saadi Remembrance

A few hours ago I got a phone call from a friend. He wanted to let me know that Mark Saadi died. I didn't ask what day or the circumstances. It didn't seem important. Mark and I were acquaintances, but our kids are best of friends and have been for years. He left those two boys, their much younger brother and Denise, their mother and his wife. Needless to say, I feel for them. Thanks to all who left comments. The strip will return Tuesday. Peace. 1-18-06 UPDATE: For those who knew Mark, Denise has asked that, in lieu of flowers, a donation be made to an account being set up for the Saadi Boys College Fund.
