All: Novelist Tom Robbins years ago wrote something of an appreciation about Ray Kroc, founder of McDonald's, for Esquire magazine. I learned there that Kroc bought his first restaurant from two brothers, Mac and Dick McDonald. And, Robbins noted, you can see why one had the signature burger named after him and the other didn't.
