Uh, what the hell is that thing hitting on Tall Corn Bread? Not to call into question your drawing ability, but I gotta say, it's skeeving me out. Which may have been your intent.
Jen: Well, I realized there'd be some ambiguity around that, but I certaintly didn't want to skeeve you out. Not this time, anyway. I did think, "I can name this thing, or see if a certain preoccupation of Therese sparks her to do so."
P.S. My drawing ability needs to be called into question.
"swing with other food group" loved it. tall corn bread, dude. you just need the right person to butter you up. in fact i have a nice warm plate sitting next to the butter dish. (i have a weak spot for corn bread)
Remember, brother Jesus said let he who is without sin cast the first stone. So I chucked that mutha. - Paraphrased from Berkeley Breathed's Bloom County

Therese: Leading you into temptation, are we?
Ooooh, it's stacked!
I'm such a 12-year-old boy.
i recognized the meaty layered object immediately.
and actually i was just thinking that your drawing improves notably with each strip. it's impressive.
and i just discovered that out of all your characters thus far, i most strongly identify with tall cornbread.
except i'm not tall.

Jen: It's good to honor your inner 12-year-old boy.
Camobunny: Thanks for the compliment on the drawing. And, yeah, I like Tall Corn Bread too.
Mary: Yeah, a plate of corn bread that tall would last 10, maybe 20 seconds.
Puffintoad: The beauty of Tall Corn Bread is that, depending on one's palate and expectations, she can be either sweet or savory (and rarely cranky).
Oh, that has to be my favorite so far! My cup of coffee agrees.
Strixy: Glad you like it. Glad your coffee likes it too. Thanks for letting me know.
