Nah, it only argues that the genepool hasn't been completely cleaned of stupidity. It's an on-going process, not fire-and-forget.
I wonder, though... Does the ID philosophy say that the design is an on-going process?

Scottmgs: Yeah, I agree. And medical science has ensured that more of the weaker ones, as it were, will survive to reproduce, further diluting the gene pool.
P.S. to puffintoad: I had planned on a strip based appreciatively on one of your comments. Something else came up, though, so may be a while before I get to it. I hate when that happens. Thanks for taking the time.
