Ok, if one's an American for knowing one language, how many languages does one need to know to be 'wacko' status?
I once had a friend who knew three languages, and she was kinda wacko. I miss her. The recently deceased Pope, on the other hand, was said to know 16. He seemed a reasonable sort. Why? How many do you know?
Err.. three, which is the norm here. Planning to take proper French lessons at the Alliance Fracais next year so.. yay!! I'm a wacko.
What a thing to confess online.
Over here, the norm is one. Poorly. Which I achieved in school with excellent marks.
